Overview
The sixth annual KnO2wledge conference was held on the 17 May 2011 in association with the Critical Care Medicine Subsection of the Section for Anaesthesia of the Royal Society of Medicine in central London.
Entitled Cold comfort -The double edged sword of hypothermia the programme featured many international guest speakers from the USA and Norway, and included talks on:
- Resuscitating the mitochondrion
- Xenon and hypothermia
- Deep hypothermic circulatory arrest: Past, present and future Hypothermia and frostbite
The day concluded with a plenary session Back from the dead
