Kay takes Xtreme team collaboration to BACCN 2017

On the 4th September, Xtreme Everest's Kay Mitchell gave a keynote lecture at this years British Association of Critical Care Nurses (BACCN). Due to the overwhelming success that was the 30th Anniversary, the BACCN decided to yet again return to the City of London, for the 32nd Annual BACCN Conference, which took place on the 4-5th September 2017. Titled "Building Interprofessional Teams to Enhance Safer Critical Care", the two days were a packed schedule of seminars, keynotes, sim labs and workshops.

Entitled Ultimate Team Collaboration: Xtreme Everest 10 Years On, Kay talked about the conducting research in an extreme environment with a large cohort of participants and a big team of researchers.

As a follow on piece to the lecture, Kay has written a piece for the BACCN which will be available in the new year.

The British Association of Critical Care Nurses (BACCN) is a leading non-profit organisation dedicated to the promotion of nursing in critical care. We aim to:
