11th Jun 2018

Xtreme Everest Investigator Dr Jeremy Windsor is organising the 2nd Diploma in Mountain Medicine event in June this year which will take place in Hathersage.

Both days will begin early with a mix of workshops, discussions, films and short presentations. The afternoons are given over to exploring the Peak District, whilst in the evenings there will be an opportunity for attendees to get together for a meal and a talk.

On the 13 June, the British Mountain Medicine Society will be launching with a day called Surviving the Death Zone and will features a number of Xtreme Everest Investigators, including:

  • Prof David Howard
  • Prof Chris Imray
  • and Dr Sundeep Dhillon

alongside other high profile speakers. The organisers are keeping prices for the events as low as possible in order to encourage a diverse audience from budding medical students, keen paramedics and the experienced clinicians.
