7th World Extreme Medicine Conference

The 2018 World Extreme Medicine Conference is taking place this year on the 23 - 25 November in Edinburgh. The venue Dynamic Earth will play host to the 7th conference and will be an opportunity for networking and meeting the world's medical professionals who are willing to risk themselves to help others.
The conference stimulates new thinking, extends professional relationships and shares new and more effective approaches to medical practice in challenging environments.
Speakers so far include:
- Hamish de Bretton-Gordon, the former commander of the UK Chemical, Biological and Nuclear Regiment
- Scott Parazynski, a former Astronaut who's hung up his spacesuit; Everest climber and Volcanaut;
